ORDER

Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the Respondents.

2. The Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that his application for conducting a survey on the petitioner's property measuring an extent of 664 sq.ft. in Door No.12 in Plot No.194 comprised in S.No.127/Part situated in Raghupathy Nagar, 3rd Street, Thalakanancheri Village, Alandur, Chennai, followed by a summons for enquiry on 06.03.2023 had not progressed beyond that.

3. The Petitioner is before this Court seeking a Mandamus to direct the 3rd Respondent to conduct field boundary line measurement in respect of petitioner land measuring 664 sq.ft. situated at comprised in Survey No.127Part, situated at No.12, 3rd Street, Raghupathy Nagar, 3rd Street, Thalakanancheri Village, Alandur, Chennai, based on the Petitioner's Application dated 28.11.2022.

Considering the request of the Petitioner and also the fact that the Petitioner has made her application as early as on 28.11.2022, a mandamus is issued to the 3rd Respondent to conduct field boundary line measurement in respect of petitioner land measuring 664 sq.ft. situated at comprised in Survey No.127-Part, situated at No.12, 3rd Street, Raghupathy Nagar, 3rd Street, Thalakanancheri Village, Alandur, Chennai. The Petitioner shall submit all the relevant records to show their title to the property and the Respondents shall, after issuing notice to the adjacent land owners and interested parties, hold on enquiry and thereafter, proceed to pass orders either surveying and subdividing the property or rejecting the request. In the case of a rejection, a speaking order shall be passed. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
