When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioners as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and produced their official Identity and adhaar cards.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that pending proceedings in C.C.No.752 of 2017 on the file of the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, the second respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioners have https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

amicably settled the issue among themselves and the de-facto complainant has also filed an affidavit dated 24.10.2019 stating that he has no objection if the proceedings in C.C.No.752 of 2017 on the file of the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai is quashed.

4.Recording the statements made by the defacto complainant in the affidavit filed by him dated 24.10.2019, the entire proceedings in C.C.No.752 of 2017 on the file of the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai is hereby quashed.
