The petitioner/A1 seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.328 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(a), 4(1-A) of Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act with respective to an occurrence which took place on 30.07.2023.

2. It is stated that the petitioner and the other accused were found in possession of 35 litres of ID Arrack. There are five previous cases against the petitioner herein.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the other accused has been arrested and enlarged on bail, but, the petitioner's antecedents have also to be examined.

4. In view of that particular fact into consideration, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
