When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the trial in C.C.No.1324 of 2022 on the file of the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, had been completed and that the petitioner was acquitted way back on 12.09.2023 itself, as a result of which, the prayer sought in this petition has become infructuous.

Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
