Heard Mr.S.T.S.Murthi, learned Addl. Advocate General, appearing for the petitioners/appellants and Mr.K.Sudalaikannu, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent/writ petitioner.

We find sufficient cause having been shown in support of the petition for condonation of delay of 99 days in filing the appeal. The delay is, accordingly, condoned.

The writ appeal shall be treated to be within time and shall be given the regular number.

The learned counsel for the first respondent has put in appearance and prays that the matter be adjourned enabling him to file typed set of papers.

Accordingly, we direct the Registry to list the appeal on 20.11.2019.
