O R D E R

The petitioners have filed this petition to quash the FIR in Crime in Crime No.4 of 2022 pending investigation on the file of the 1st respondent police, for the offences under Sections 498(A), 294(B) read with Section 34 of IPC, as against the petitioners.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) submitted that 1st respondent police has completed the investigation in Crime No.4 of 2022 and also filed a final report in C.C.No.660 of 2022, before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Puducherry, against the petitioners.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. 05.01.2024 Index: Yes/ No rri
