Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the second respondent to produce the petitioner's minor daughter, named Miss.B.Thenmozhi, Female, aged about 16 years and 9 months, before this Court and handover her to the petitioner herein.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) When the petitioner's minor daughter had gone missing from 15.09.2023, a complaint in this regard came to be registered by the respondent police in Cr.No.187 of 2023 as girl missing. In this background, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed. 2.Pending the case, the second respondent had secured the petitioner's daughter and produced her before us. We interacted with the petitioner, whose wife was also present before this Court, as well as their minor daughter. According to the petitioner's daughter, she expressed her willingness to reconcile with her parents and live under their care and custody, and the petitioner's wife agreed to take her daughter along with

them.

3.In view of the statements made by the parents, the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition.

4.In view of this order being passed today, the Child Welfare Committee, Ariyalur shall not insist for the physical presence of the petitioner's minor daughter before them, and the proceedings before them shall be closed.

5.Accordingly, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. (M.S.R.,J.) (S.M.,J.) 24.01.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Anu
