ORDER
This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.This case is registered in Cr.No.57 of 2018 dated 27.02.2018 for the alleged offence under Sections 294 (b) and 353 I.P.C. The incident was occurred on 27.02.2018. The first informant is the Police personnel. The accused said to have entered into the Police station and abused the Police Page No.1 of 3
personnel and prevented them from doing their duty. The accused is facing the case from the year 2018. It is stated that the defacto-complainant has also died.
3.For all the above reasons, no meaningful trial can be completed herein after even if the accused is brought to face trial, it would impinge upon his right to a speedy trial and no useful purpose would be served. 4.Accordingly, the case in S.T.C.No.1 of 2021 of District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Vikravandi, Vikravandi Taluk, Villupuram, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of. 26.08.2025 ep electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
