ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.The case was registered for the alleged offences under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 r/w 467 and 120 (b) I.P.C. The mother's case in C.C.No.5915 of 2007 proceeded further and resulted in an acquittal. The grounds for acquittal Page No.1 of 4

also apply to the present accused. The matter has been pending for the execution of the warrant.

3.Considering the factual matrix, the context of the case, the background of the accused, the reason for his absence at his place of residence, and the submission made that, despite best efforts, the warrant could not be executed, it is clear that even if the accused faces trial, no useful purpose would be served.

4.Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.1310 of 2012 of XI Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet Taluk, Chennai, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.

The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
