The petitioner herein is the wife of the second respondent is before this Court for transfer of case in C.C.No.308 of 2022 on the file of Additional Mahila Court, Perambalur on the ground that the second respondent had threatened her when she went to the Court to participate in the proceedings and in this connection, she gave a complaint to the police, but no action was taken against them. Therefore, she fears threat to her life if she goes to Perambalur to participate in the trial in C.C.No.308 of 2022.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the petitioner herein has given a complaint against the second respondent and the same is pending before the Additional Mahila Court, Perambalur in C.C.No.308 of 2022 on 29.12.2022 reporting that the second respondent in drunken mode had misbehaved with her and harassed her. A complaint was given by the petitioner and the same was taken up for investigation and final report filed on 20.10.2023. It is submitted that the first respondent police is ready to give enough protection to the petitioner herein, when she 2/4

participate in the proceedings and if any adverse incident come to the notice, he will take action immediately.

3. Recording the same, this Court is of the view that there is no reasons for the present for transfer of trial from one district to the other district. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Vv 02.11.2023 To
