PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records relating to the detention order dated 19.09.2024 passed by the second respondent in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.162 of 2024 and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's son Ajith @ Vignesh S/o. Kumar, aged 29 years, who is presently under going detention in the Central Prison, Puzhal before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.7489, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 28.10.2024.
Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
