PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent in BCDFGISSSV No.887/2024 dated 29/08/2024 against the petitioner Son Vijay @ Keenjan S/o.Muniyan Male aged 25 years the detenue herein now confined in Central Prison Puzhal Chennai and to set aside the detention order and direct the respondent to produce and Physically bring the body of the detenue before this Honble Court and Set Him at Liberty.

Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.7166, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 14.10.2024.

Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
