When the matter was taken up for hearing on earlier occasions on 28.06.2024 and 04.07.2024, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Hence, the Registry was directed to list the matter under the caption "For Dismissal" on 09.07.2024.
2. Even today, 09.07.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing at 10.40 a.m., none appeared on behalf of the petitioners and the matter was passed over. Again, the matter was called at 11.30 a.m, there was no representation for the petitioners. It is made clear and evident that the petitioners are not interested in prosecuting the case.
3. Since there is no representation for the petitioners, this Court is left with no other option except to dismiss the petition for non-prosecution. 2/4
