This petition is filed to condone the delay of 297 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the judgment of the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvallur District in S.C.No.107 of 2015 dated 12.09.2023.

2. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and upon hearing the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the petitioner, we are inclined to condone the above said delay.

3. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.

4. The Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same "for admission" and "for final disposal" on 06.10.2025.

5. In the meantime, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is directed to serve papers on the respondents.
