Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the notice issued by 2 to 4 respondents in Notice No.Div.177/002/2025 dated 08.08.2025 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to give fair opportunity to the petitioner in pursuance of her reply dated 19.08.2025.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The challenge made to the notice dated 08.08.2025 is essentially based on the allegation that the said notice is illegal.

2. The petitioner has an alternative remedy of approaching the revisional authority under Section 80-A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971. Without approaching the said authority, the petitioner has directly filed this petition before this Court.

3. In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to entertain this petition, particularly when it is not a case where the notice is challenged on the ground that it is wholly without jurisdiction or that principle of natural justice was violated or that the authorities have acted malafide.

Petition is dismissed with liberty to approach the revisional authority. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the interim applications stand closed.
