Respondent(s) This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd Respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 11/08/2025 and by defreeze the petitioners account bearing Account No.317201000005543 and IFSC Code IOBA0003172 and releasing the entire amount of Rs.1,48,289 / - held by the 3rd respondent within a stipulated period as fixed by this Honorable Court. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd Respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 11/08/2025 and by defreeze the petitioners account bearing Account No.317201000005543 and IFSC Code IOBA0003172 and releasing the entire amount of Rs.1,48,289 / - held by the 3rd respondent within a stipulated period as fixed by this Honorable Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the 3 rd respondent being a Nationalized bank, freezed the savings account of the petitioner without even a prior intimation. Thereby, the petitioner made a representation on 11.08.2025 to the respondents to defreeze the account and the same is not considered. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may

issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Standing submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered on merits within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the second and third respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no legal impediments.

7. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. 10-09-2025 Rli
