in C.P.No.280 of 2014 Krishnan Ramasamy, J., This Company Application has been filed to set-aside the order passed by the Official Liquidator dated 04.10.2019 in and by which, the claim of the applicant to a sum of Rs.9,45,137/- out of total claim of Rs.11,02,137/- has been rejected.

2. Ms.B.Ambili, Deputy Official Liquidator submitted that, initially the claim of the applicant was admitted only to an extent of Rs.1,57,000/-. However, she would submit that after verification of the records, it is found that the applicant is entitled to a sum of Rs.4,75,000/- and the same can be ordered to be paid to the applicant and in this regard, she also filed a detailed report giving the reasons why the applicant is entitled to the said amount.

3. In reply, the learned counsel for the applicant submitted that, he is agreeing for the amount of Rs.4,75,000/- mentioned in the report filed by the Deputy Official Liquidator. Therefore, he would urge that the said amount may be directed to be paid.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the applicant as well as the Deputy Official Liquidator, it appears that a sum of Rs.4,75,000/- has been arrived at by the Deputy Official Liquidator as total claim payable to the applicant. Therefore, the Deputy Official Liquidator is directed to re-adjudicate the claim No.2/280/2014/-claims-II dated 04.10.2019, within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. After such readjudication, the Deputy Official Liquidator is directed to disburse a sum of Rs.4,75,000/- to the credit of the workmen accounts in full extent within a period of two weeks.
