ORDER

By consent of the either parties, the writ petition is disposed at the admission stage itself.

2. This petition has been filed seeking to issue a direction to the respondents to execute and register the sale deed in petitioner favour in respect of Plot No. AP 1716 J, KK Nagar Chennai.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the subject property was initially

allotted to the petitioner's mother Annapoorani under the KK. Nagar Scheme by the Tamil Nadu Housing Board through an allotment order fated 09.06.1976, following an allotment on 27.02.1975. The entire sale consideration was paid as early as 1985. By communication dated 08.12.1995, the respondents themselves directed the original allottee to apply for execution and registration of the sale deed. However, no such sale deed was executed during her lifetime. After death of Annapoorani, the petitioner become the sole legal heir. The petitioner applied for transfer of allotment on 16.08.2021, 07.03.2023 and 19.06.2025. However, the same has not been considered. Hence, the present writ petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the first respondent to consider the representations made by the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

5. Per contra, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

7. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation dated 19.06.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

8. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
