O R D E R

The petitioner, who was arrested at the hands of the respondent police on 09.06.2025 for the alleged offences under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.26 of 2025 seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner on the promise of

securing job at Neyveli (NLC) for the post of INDCOSERV (Contract Worker), had received a sum of Rs.72,13,000/- from the defacto complainant and several others in several installments and thereafter neither secured job nor returned the money. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and he has been falsely implicated in a case registered for the offence under Sections 406 & 420 of IPC in Crime No.26 of 2025. Petitioner is in Judicial Custody from 09.06.2025. Thus, he seeks bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the charge sheet has been filed in this case. However, he opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. It is seen that, though charge sheet has been filed in this case, the cheated amount has not been recovered. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
