The petitioner is A1 in S.C.No.260 of 2023 now pending on the file of the IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore, seeks bail.

2. It is stated that the charges have been framed under Sections 449, 392, 302 r/w 34 of IPC. As a matter of fact, there were two other accused in Crime No.1332 of 2011, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 449, 392, 302 r/w 34 of IPC.

3. The petitioner had jumped bail and the other two accused participated in trial after the case was split up against the petitioner herein. The trial against other two accused had proceeded in S.C.No.313 of 2012 and they were both convicted and sentence of Life Imprisonment had been granted.

4. It is stated that the petitioner was involved in yet another case and thereafter, he had been taken into custody in the year 2016. It is stated that the matter is now pending for trial.

5. Taking into consideration the antecedents that the petitioner who had absconded the judicial process, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
