This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.11.2022 and grant permission and protection for conducting Rekla Race scheduled to held on 25.12.2022 at about 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. between Servarayanpalayam, Bhavani to Oricheri Pudhur, Appakoodal Road in connection with the Diwali Festival Celebration at Bhavani Town, Erode District.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Govt.Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 01.11.2022 for conducting Rekla Race scheduled to be held on 25.12.2022 was rejected on 26.11.2022 by the respondent police.
