Defendants Plaint (Civil Suit) filed under Order IV Rule 1 of the Original Side Rules of this Court and Order VII Rule 1 of the Code of Civil Procedure, praying to pass a judgment and decree against the defendants, jointly and severally : (a) directing them to pay a sum of Rs.1,02,00,000/- as damages towards the plaintiff for the alleged defamatory statements made by the defendants in its e-mail, dated 06.05.2024;
(b) to grant a decree of perpetual injunction restraining the defendants 1 and 2, their men, agents, servants and subordinates from spreading or causing to be spread any malicious, defamatory and false information as regards the plaintiff, and (c) to pay costs of the suit.

JUDGMENT
When the suit is taken up for hearing, both sides' counsel represented that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties through mediation. The mediation report is circulated with the statement of agreement between the parties and as per the settlement, both parties have settled their disputes amicably and they have no other claims or demands against each other in this suit. Therefore, recording the above said settlement between the parties, this suit is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
2. At the request of the learned counsel for the plaintiff who submitted that the plaintiff is unable to travel frequently therefore, the Registry is directed to refund the necessary Court fee as per the Rules in force, in the name of the learned counsel for the plaintiff.
