O R D E R

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking directing the respondents to promote the petitioner who is in serial No.4 in the panel prepared by the respondents to the post of Deputy Transport Commissioner.

3. The case of the petitioner is that petitioner was appointed by the second respondent and posted at Regional Transport Office, Tuticorin and thereafter in order to avail the further promotion as Deputy Transport Commissioner, the petitioner made a representation on 27.03.2019 to the first 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent, till date not considered. Hence the present Writ Petition is filed.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to issue direction the first respondent to consider the representation dated 27.03.2019 and pass orders within a reasonable time.

5. Mr. A.N. Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, agrees to dispose of the representation dated 27.03.2019 within a stipulated time.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the first respondent to consider representation dated 27.03.2019, if not considered already and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
