The learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that during the pendency of the writ petition, the petitioner approached the competent authorities under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Conferment of Permanent Status Act, 1981 and the orders passed by the Inspector of Labour has been challenged by way of another writ petition before this Court.

2. This being the factum, the issue raised in the present writ petition lost its relevance and thus, no further adjudication is required. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
