The above Petition is filed to withdraw and transfer the case in IDOP No.68 of 2024, pending on the file of the Family Court, Chengalpet, to the District and Sessions Court, Mayiladuthurai.

2. Reasons for seeking the transfer are as follows:- i. The petitioner/wife along with her 4-year-old daughter is residing at Myiladuthurai.

ii.The petitioner/wife is working as a Special Teacher (S.S.A) in Government Higher Secondary School, Kuthalam, Myiladuthurai District. iii.The distance between the present residence of the petitioner/wife and the Family Court, Chengalpattu is 250 kilometres.

3. The respondent though served has not entered appearance either in person or though counsel. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.

4. In the above circumstances the request for transfer appears reasonable and justified. Therefore, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the case in IDOP No.68 of 2024, pending on the file of the Family Court, Chengalpet, is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the District and Sessions Court, Mayiladuthurai.
