This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 19.04.2023 within a stipulated time.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners, within a stipulated time as may be fixed by this Court. 3.Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents submitted that a direction may be issued to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners within a stipulated time.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioners, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners dated 19.04.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, after 2/4

issuing notice and providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as wells as interested parties/rival claimants if any, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
