ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to grant leave to the petitioner to file an appeal against the order dated 30.08.2024 passed in CC.No.1130 of 2020, on the file of III Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed a private complaint, against the respondent before the learned III Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai in CC.No.1130 of 2020, for the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. The learned Magistrate vide impugned order dated 30.08.2024 acquitting the respondent/accused. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has filed the criminal original petition seeking leave to file an appeal.

3. Since there are arguable points in the grounds of appeal, leave is granted.

4. Registry is directed to take the appeal on file, if it is otherwise in order.
