With the consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. Heard Mr.R.Sivaraman, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.K.Rameshwar, learned counsel for the respondent.
3. This writ petition has been filed praying to call for the records relating to the letter in Lr.No.SE UEDC/Udt/AO/R/AS/A3/FHTSC 223/2002 dated 9/4/2002 issued by the Superintending Engineer, Udumalpet Electricity Distribution Circle, Udumalpet and quash the same.
4. The petitioner is M/s.Kongarar Integrated Fibres Limited and challenge in this writ petition is to the letter issued by the Superintending Engineer, Udumalpet Electricity https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Distribution Circle dated 9/4/2002 stating that the amount of Rs.23,14,880/- would be added to their current consumption bill.

Mr.S.K.Rameshwar, learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that there are subsequent developments in the matter and that the petitioner has been declared as a Sick Industrial Company and it has been recalled and the assets were taken over by the Alchemist Asset Reconstruction Company Limited (formerly Dhir and Dhir Asset Reconstruction and Securitisation Company Limited) and the same was brought for sale and Sri Venkatesa Kannan Realty Private Limited, Palladam, had purchased the same and a sale certificate has been issued in their favour on 30/3/2010. After they have purchased the assets, they had addressed a letter dated 9/12/2014 to the Superintending Engineer, requesting for the details regarding the dues in respect of HTSC No.154.
In response to the said request, the Superintending Engineer has sent a reply on 10/12/2015, furnishing all the details.
6. In the light of the subsequent developments, no further adjudication in this writ petition is required, except to place the above facts on record.
7. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
