This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 02.08.2024 & 16.08.2024.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the representations were filed by the petitioner to re-classify the eastern side of the lands in present S. No. 27/1 as S.No. 27/2, Kothanur, Perumampatti Village,
Salem West Taluk, Salem District. However, the said representations were not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.
3. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representations will be disposed of by the respondent within a period of 8 weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 02.08.2024 & 16.08.2024 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
