This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to fix the pay of the petitioner as Selection Grade/Special Grade in the post of Middle School Headmaster by computing his entire services rendered as Secondary Grade Assistant Teacher/Elementary School Headmaster and Middle School Head Master with effect from 01.06.1988, by extending the benefits of G.O.Ms.No.210, School Education(G1) Department dated 14.08.2009, by considering the representation made by the Petitioner on 11.07.2024 2/6
2.Heard Mr.A.S.Kaizer, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mrs.S.Mythreye Chandru, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
3.The case of the petitioner is that he is entitled for the benefit under G.O.Ms.No.210, dated 14.08.2009 and such benefits were granted to similarly placed persons who approached this Court. However, when the representation was made by the petitioner in this regard, the same did not evoke any response. It is under these circumstances, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.
4.To substantiate this submission, the learned counsel for the petitioner relied upon the order passed in W.A.Nos.73 of 2016 etc., dated 26.03.2019. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court and the order passed by this Court in the batch of writ appeals in W.A.Nos.73 of 2016 etc., dated 26.03.2019 and the 3/6
relevant Government Order, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 11.07.2024, on its own merits and in accordance with law and in line with the relevant Government Order and the earlier order passed by this Court and a final decision shall be taken, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6.The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order. 7.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
