ORDER

Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of both the learned counsels, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the 2 nd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.08.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.The case of the petitioner is that he had sent a representation to the 2 nd respondent on 14.08.2025, seeking to treat him on par with his junior 2/5

Karupaiah, on the principles of parity. However, it has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

4.Per contra, Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the 2 nd respondent is only the forwarding authority and he would submit that 2 nd respondent will consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation and will forward the same to the 1 st respondent, who in turn, will consider of the same at the earliest. 5.Under the facts and circumstances and considering the limited prayer in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the matter, a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
