The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 3 (1), 4(1), 5(1)(a), 5(1)(b) of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act, 1956, in Crime No.373 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Thus, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail for the petitioner. 3.It is the case of the prosecution that the defacto complainant, who is attached with the respondent police had raided a lodge owned by the petitioner, namely, SASA lodge at Polur road, Tiruvannamalai, on 13.07.2023 and found one woman with another male partner. The victim was rescued and on the basis of her statement, FIR had been registered. A1 had been arrested and released on bail. sli 4.Taking that fact into consideration, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner herein. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
