The defacto complainant being aggrieved by the prolonged delay in completion of the trial in C.C.No.37 of 2021 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Kallakuruchi is before this Court for direction to expedite the trial.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submits that totally, there are 24 listed witnesses and the case is adjourned to 31.10.2023 for questioning the accused and to proceed with trial, if necessary.

3. Taking into account of the said submission, the respondent police is directed to marshal the witnesses on every hearing date without fail and cooperate for the completion of the trial within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
