This Petition is filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate actions against the 4th respondent's illegal activity and transfer the agriculture motor service connection NO.539-026-651/7.5 HP from the survey No.92/14 B to survey No.92/11 of lands situated at Rengappanoor village, Vanapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District-606 402 and to disconnect the electricity motor connection, which was presently installed by the 4 th respondent in unauthorised place.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents and perused the documens placed on record. Since no adverse order is passed, notice to the 4 th respondent is dispensed with.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's grand father, viz., Manicka Gounder had obtained electricity connection in Service No.539-026-65 from the 3 rd respondent in the year 1979 and the same was used for agricultural purpose to an extent of 5 acres, which is the joint family property in survey no.92/11. Further, the electric motor, which is situated in the said land is used for irrigation purpose since the year 1979 to 2024, however, the petitioner's mother's brother's son namely, 4 th respondent had changed the electricity connection in survey no.92/14B which is one kilometer away from survey no.92/11 through own free Will and without obtaining any permission from the other joint family members, aggrieved by the same, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents, since the same was not considered, the present writ petition is filed.
4. On going through the documents placed on record, it is seen that an application has been made with regard to the transfer of electricity connection in the 5 acres of land by the petitioner . Further, the claim of the petitioner is that it is a joint family property, however, there is no individual title available to the petitioner or to the 4 th respondent. In the absence of any independent title 3/6
available to the petitioner with regard to the property, she is not entitled to make an application for electricity connection before the Electricity Board, hence the present writ petition is mis-conceived and the same is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to workout the remedy before the competent court in the manner known to law.
In the result, the present Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
