ORDER

The allegation in this case is that the accused was attempting to steal the bicycle of the complainant. Fortunately, the complainant went there and he thwarted the attempt. The accused is facing the case from the year 2019.

2. Considering the nature of allegations and the fact that even while trying to steal the bicycle the complainant thwarted the attempt and there are no other bad antecedent against the accused and any further continuance of Page No.1 of 3

the trial would impinge upon the right to speedy trial of the accused.

3. Accordingly, the proceedings in C.C.No.471 of 2019 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Chengalpattu Taluk, Chengalpattu, stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case is disposed of. 26.08.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
