ORDER

The allegation in this case is that on 25.07.2019 the accused tried to steal money from the ATM. The mere fact that the accused entered the ATM room and tried to do something itself would demonstrate that all is not well with the accused. It is stated that the accused is mentally ill.

2. Be that as it may, the matter is pending from the year 2019. The accused was also arrested and later released on bail, which is also taken into account. It is also stated that after becoming mentally ill the accused has gone Page No.1 of 3

away and NBW could not be executed in spite of the best efforts of the police and no useful purpose will be served by keeping the matter pending.

3. Accordingly, the proceedings in C.C.No.13 of 2020 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Salem Taluk, Salem, stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case is disposed of.

26.08.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
