ORDER

The allegation in this case is that on 16.12.2018, the accused threatened and extorted a sum of Rs.300/- from the defacto complainant and ran away. There are two other cases also pending against the accused. However, it is seen that the accused mother also filed missing complaint in Crime No.227 of 2011 and the concerned Police namely Meensuriti Police Station also referred the same as undetected and the final report has also been filed. 2. In view thereof, the accused remains totally untraceable and considering the nature of allegation, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the matter pending, even if the accused is traced out in future.

3. Considering the context of the case, the right to speedy trial of the accused would be affected. In view thereof, the case in C.C.No.200019 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No. II, Jayamkondam Taluk, Ariyalur stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case is disposed of. 26.08.2025 rap electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
