ORDER

The allegation against the accused in the case is that on 23.06.2010, in the public place, the accused were wielding Aruvals and threatening the common public. Even when Police went for rounds, they also showed the weapons against them. Accordingly, a case was registered for the offences under Sections 353, 307, 25(1)(b)(a) of the Arms Act and Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code. The case is pending at the P.R.C stage and the warrant is pending from the year 2017. The accused who are arrayed in this case are Page No.1 of 3

absolutely untraceable.

2. Considering the nature of allegations and also the fact that in this case, the accused were arrested and remanded to the custody and thereafter, were released on bail and that the Police themselves being the complainant, are unable to trace the accused in this case and also the connected case was already quashed by this Court, I am of the view that no purpose will be served in keeping this case also pending.

3. Accordingly, the case in P.R.C.No.5 of 2021 of Judicial Magistrate Court No II, Jayamkondam Taluk, Ariyalur, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.
