2. The allegation in this case is that on 23.11.2020. The accused drove the vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and caused injuries. The case in Cr.No.2308 of 2020 is registered for the alleged offence(s) under Section 279 Page No.1 of 3

and 337 of IPC, 1860.

3. When the matter was called, the accused was present before the Court and pleaded guilty.

4. Considering the overall nature of the accident, the fact that the accused has been facing the case for a long time and that he has now pleaded guilty, this Court is of the view that a penalty of fine of Rs.200/- for the offence under Section 279 of IPC and Rs.300/- for the offence under Section 337 of IPC shall be imposed. The fine amount shall be paid by the accused on the next date of hearing before the Trial Court.

3. Accordingly, the proceedings in S.T.C.No.263 of 2021 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Villupuram Taluk, Villupuram, stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of. 02.09.2025 jd The Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
