Prayer : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, praying to call for the records relating to the Crime No.54 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the Crime No.54 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent police and quash the same.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, the learned counsel for the second respondent and the learned Government Advocate (Crl side) appearing for the 1st respondent police. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, both parties along with their respective counsel have appeared before this court. Further, a joint memo of compromise has been filed by the 2nd respondent/defacto complainant and the petitioners before this Court. In order to identify the respective parties, they have also produced the copy of the Aadhaar Card, is made part of the record. As per the joint memo of compromise, the defacto complainant submitted that already the matter was settled between the parties. The petitioners agreed to handover the cheques, which belongs to the 2nd respondent herein. The second 2/4
petitioner/Prabhakaran was not able to appear before this Court due to some inconvenience on his side and signatures have also been identified. This Court also enquired both the parties and was satisfied that the parties have come to an amicable settlement between themselves.
4. Considering the joint memo of compromised filed by both parties, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed and the proceedings in Crime No.54 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent police, is quashed and the terms of joint memo of compromise has been filed in the typed set of papers along with this petition, shall form part and parcel of this order.
