Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1 st respondent to survey and point out the field boundaries of the petitioner's property comprised in survey No. 665B/4 at Gonur west village Mettur Taluk Salem district having an extent of 0.80 sq .m (2 cents ) of land by fixing stones along with the police aid of the 2 nd respondent for survey and also in setting up the fencing of my aforesaid property in pursuance of my online application dated 08.08.2025 and my representation dated 12.08.2025.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the 1 st respondent to survey and point out the field boundaries of the petitioners property comprised in survey No. 665B/4 at Gonur west village Mettur Taluk Salem district, having an extent of 0.80sq .m (2 cents ) by fixing stones along with the police aid based on the petitioner's online application dated 08.08.2025 and representation dated 12.08.2025.

2.Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate takes notice on st respondent and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate behalf of the 1 nd respondent. By consent of the parties, the main takes notice on behalf of the 2 writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner made an online application dated 08.08.2025 and a representation dated 12.08.2025 before the 1 st respondent, to survey the petitioner's property and point out the field boundaries by fixing stones with the aid of the 2 nd respondent/Police, the same have not been considered by the 1 st respondent so far. Hence, he prayed to direct the 1 st respondent to consider and dispose of petitioner's online application dated 08.08.2025 and the representation dated 12.08.2025 after issuing due notice to the respondents 3 to 8. 4.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1 st respondent would submit that the respondents 3 to 8 are neighbours of the petitioner, by issuing notice to the respondents 3 to 8 and after recording their obstructions, if any, the st respondent will complete the process of measuring and laying the boundary stones, within a period of four weeks.

5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2.

6.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, it is evident that the petitioner made an online application to the 1 st respondent, to survey her land and fix the boundary stones and in this regard she has also made a representation on 12.08.2025. However, the 1 st respondent has not consider the same till date. Further, the petitioner apprehend that the respondents 3 to 8 would obstruct the Officials from measuring the land and therefore, she sought to measure and demarcate the land with the aid of the police.

7.In view of the above, this Court directs the 1 st respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 08.08.2025 and representation dated 12.08.2025 and measure the petitioner's property and fix the boundary stones after issuing due notice to the respondents 3 to 8. In the event, Police Protection is required, the 1 st respondent shall take the help of the 2 nd respondent and complete the entire exercise within a period of four weeks from today. No costs.
