O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.10.2024 in paying the dues on one time settlement basis, after waiving interest and penal interest, on humanitarian ground as the allotment of the MIG plot in the name of the petitioner itself is in appreciation of impeccable government servant.

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was working as Assistant in Tamil Nadu State Highways Department and in appreciation of her impeccable service, a middle income group house was allotted vide allotment order dated 10.07.2002 under the 22 House Scheme @ Dharapuram Near Bus Stand. The petitioner is residing in the said house along with her family for more than 24 years. The petitioner paid the monthly instalments till 2016 and thereafter, due to poverty and other family
circumstances, there occurred a delay in paying the instalments. As a result, the second respondent issued a notice demanding repossession of the premises and a sum of Rs.17,36,915/- towards principal together with interest. The petitioner explained her family circumstances to the third respondent several times in person and sought time for repayment of dues on one time settlement basis. Apprehending dispossession, the petitioner made a representation dated 01.10.2024, however, the said representation has not been considered so far. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the respondents are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 01.10.2024 on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.
5. In view of the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.10.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
