O R D E R

This petition is filed for an issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the 2nd respondent issued in Na.Ka.No.3880/2024/GD2 dated 04.10.2024 and quash the same and consequently, direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to permit the petitioner to continue as Assistant Engineer in Vellore City Municipal Corporation in the light of the provisions under the Service Rules.

2. When the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the reversion order, which was challenged before this Court in W.P.No.28259 of 2024 has been set aside by order dated 28.11.2024, hence the present petition challenging the transfer order is also liable to be dismissed as infructuous. 2/4

3. Heard the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel for the 3rd respondent on the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the reversion order, which was challenged before this Court in W.P.No.28259 of 2024 was set aside and this Writ Petition challenging the transfer order is dismissed as infructuous as nothing survives for further adjudication. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
