This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant parole for 30 days without escort to the petitioner's father viz., Selvaraj (Accused No.3), S/o.Ramasamy, Convict No.23629 detained at Central Prison, Coimbatore.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the petitioner's representation dated 30.09.2024 is pending consideration. Hence, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's aforesaid representation on its own merits and in 2/4

accordance with law within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
