Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records in Crime No. 642 of 2017 on the file of the 1st Respondent police and quash the same.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for quashing the FIR in Crime No. 642 of 2017 on the file of the 1st Respondent police against the petitioners/accused for the offence under Sections 174 (3) and 306 IPC.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that there was some property dispute between the petitioners and the father of the defacto complainant. After a mutual discussion between the parties, the property in Survey No.78/10A, 78/11 had already https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

been handed over to the father of the defacto complainant after receiving the amount from him. Therefore, action has been dropped in Crime No.642 of 2017 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Ariyalur Police Station, Ariyalur District.

3. In view of the above submission by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
