ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.2197 of 2020, pending on the file of the first respondent.

2. The petitioner has been arrayed as A2 and this petition has been filed to quash the F.I.R. on the ground that there is a compromise between the petitioner and the second respondent. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to quash the F.I.R. on the ground of compromise.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that the final report has already been filed before the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai and the same is yet to be taken on file.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned XVI Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai to act upon the final report filed by the first respondent Police within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. The Court below shall proceed further in this case in accordance with law.
