Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of habeas corpus to direct the respondents to produce the petitioner of the detenu his name Thangapandian @ Thangapandi, Son of Marimuthu, aged 39 years, he is now detained in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai in pursuance of the detention order passed by the 2nd respondent on 13.10.2019 in No.05/2019 before this Hon'ble Court and call for the records set aside the order and set the detenu at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Memo No.05 of 2019 dated 13.10.2019 detaining her husband as "Black Marketeer", as contemplated under Section 3(2)(b) r/w 3

(1) of the Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.244 Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection (E2) Department, dated 04.11.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
