PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioners' representations dated 03.08.2023 and 09.10.2023 (in WP.30721/2023) and 09.10.2023 (in WP.30725/2023) and thereby direct the respondents to appoint the petitioners as Salesman in the respondents society. Special Govt. Pleader * * * * * COMMON ORDER Heard Mr.B.Gopalakrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mrs.V.Yamunadevi, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. With the consent of both sides, the main writ petitions have been taken up for final disposal.

2. The limited prayer sought for in the present writ petitions is for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation wherein they have sought for appointment to the post of salesman in the second respondent society.

3. In the counter-affidavit filed by the second respondent, it is stated that the petitioners' representations have already been considered and rejected.

4. While that being so, the only option available to the petitioners is to 2/4

challenge the order of rejection.
