J U D G M E N T

(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN, J.) The present Contempt Appeal has been filed challenging order passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court dated 25.09.2023 in Contempt P.D.No.84578 of 2023 and Sub.Appl.D.Nos.84633, 84634 and 115487 of 2023.

2. On 25.09.2023, the learned Single Judge of this Court passed the order in the above Contempt Petition, which reads as follows : " ... 2. It is also informed that the petitioner has been threatening the officers and staffs of the High Court and also the staffs of the District Court at Villupuram. A cost of Rs.25,000/- is imposed on the petitioner herein to be paid to the District Legal Services Authority, Villupuram on or before 06.10.2023. A copy of this order may be communicated to the Principal District Judge, Villupuram and if the petitioner had not paid the costs, communication may be informed to the District Collector, Villupuram District, to initiate recovery of the costs through Revenue Recovery Act."

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the appellant (Party-in-Person) submitted that he is ready and willing to pay the costs

imposed on him in the contempt petition and sought permission to withdraw the Contempt Appeal. He has also filed an affidavit tendering unconditional apology for the said incident.
