The petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 16.10.2019 for the post teacher in the light of G.O.Ms. 188 P & AR (PR) Department dated 28.12.1976.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner married to a person who belong to other caste . As such she is entitled to benefit of the inter caste marriage couple. The Government of Tamil Nadu introduced G.O.Ms. 188 P & AR (PR) Department dated 28.12.1976 for providing preference in the Government employment to the inter caste marriage couple. Therefore, the petitioner is seeking preference to the appointment. For which she made a representation dated 16.10.2019 but till date her representation was not considered by the respondent. Hence the petitioner filed the Writ Petition.
3. Mr.P.Vijendran learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to issue direction to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent to consider the representation dated 16.10.2019 relates to compassionate appointment pass order on merits and in accordance with law.
4. Mr. C.Munusamy, Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent conceded with the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
5. Considering the above facts and circumstances and the limited request made by the petitioner, I am inclined to issue direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 16.10.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
